The initiative, open to children aged 3 to 12, aims not only to encourage artistic expression but also to strengthen connections between the League of Friends and the younger generation.
Age categories for entry:
– 3 to 5
– 6 to 8
– 9 to 12
From each age category, a winner will be selected by esteemed local judges, and you could win a fully loaded waffle voucher kindly sponsored by Le Pisani, Seaton. Runners up in each age category will win a chocolatey easter egg!
Gurjeet Bains, Retail Operations Manager, has been a key driving force behind the competition.
“It is so important that we engage with younger members of the community,” she said.
To keep the competition fair and meaningful, entries must be completed independently by the child, and only one entry per child is permitted. Participants must also live within an eight‑mile radius of Seaton, reinforcing the community‑centred nature of the event.

All winners and runners‑up across the three age categories will be informed by 8 April 2026.
A special awards event will take place at the Kingfisher Centre, 23 Queen Street, Seaton, at 4pm on 17 April 2026. Families will be welcomed to celebrate the achievements of every young participant who placed in the competition.
