We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our team and together with our trustees, provide leadership in financial planning, analysis and reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our local community during an exciting period of expansion for the League.
For 40 years, The Seaton and District Hospital League of Friends has been proudly supporting local people, initially with the building and running of the community hospital serving Seaton, Colyton, Beer and neighbouring villages. As well as having provided funds for a new hospital ward, and items of medical equipment, the charity now supports various services in the community, including a social support group, memory café, bereavement service, and has for the past 13 years funded a dedicated Seaton Hospice at Home service which provides specialist palliative care at home to those living with a life limiting illness.
We are looking for someone who is organised and methodical, with an eye for detail. Understanding the charitable and voluntary sector and its financial and governance structures will be an advantage, as will empathy for our aims and objectives.
